About Bukuu
Bukuu provides eco-conscious compost toilet hire for events and parties across Gloucestershire and beyond. Its bespoke facilities offer a practical alternative to conventional event toilets, helping organisers reduce reliance on sewage systems while creating a more sustainable guest experience. The hire range includes two separate compost toilets, suitable for birthdays, weddings and other gatherings where environmental impact matters. Sawdust and hand sanitiser are provided as standard, while the toilets use large buckets or wheelie bins for processing through the local authority. Guests are asked to separate sanitary products and nappies for appropriate disposal. Bukuu also offers eco-friendly showers for events. Shower water passes through urinal sumps to dilute urine for use as an active fertiliser, and the business recommends non-toxic soaps and gels. A Bukuu Bathroom Trailer is also available, giving event organisers another thoughtfully designed option for outdoor facilities. With a creative, rustic approach shaped by its wider work in handmade yurts, furniture and event structures, Bukuu is well suited to weddings, private parties, festivals and other outdoor celebrations. Delivery is arranged around the event location, with bespoke quotations tailored to the requirements of each occasion.
