About Bigloo
BIGLOO provides a portable, wheelchair-accessible toilet and changing facility for hire, with a higher specification than a basic accessible cubicle. Designed as a relocatable version inspired by Changing Places, it offers a spacious interior for a disabled user and assistant, and can be hired for short or long-term use or purchased. The unit is equipped for practical, dignified use. Features include a 1,500mm-wide ramp, peninsular toilet with elevated seat, grab rails, a ceiling hoist on an H-frame track, changing bench, hot-and-cold running water, sensor-operated fittings, emergency lighting and a 1,500mm turning circle. RADAR and National Key Scheme access, visual contrast, anti-slip flooring, insulation and a flush toilet are also described. From its base in Cinderford, BIGLOO serves a broad range of settings across the South West, West Midlands and South Wales, with main use cases including outdoor weddings, festivals, exhibitions, schools, colleges, offices, campsites and temporary public toilet provision. The team surveys proposed sites, supplies a quotation and delivers and positions the unit using its own personnel. The hire model retains important accessible features while remaining easier to relocate than a permanent facility. The company is clear that the hire version does not meet the full Changing Places specification, although units can be built to the BS8300 standard for permanent installation subject to a site survey. Children and vulnerable people should be supervised when using the facility.
